Rhode Island state law prohibits the acceptance of any corporate or business checks for campaign contributions. Only personal and PAC checks are an acceptable form of contribution. State law also requires that contributors state their place of employment and address of employer. An individual may contribute a maximum amount of $1,000 per year. Campaign contributions are not tax-deductible.
