You can call me any name you want.
I just want my kids to grow up in a country that they recognize.
This is Rep. Brandon Gill and at 29 years old, I became the youngest House Republican.
I didn't run for Congress to gain notoriety or recognition.
I didn’t do it to go to fancy cocktail parties in DC.
I did it because being a husband and a father are the two most important things in my life.
My children are my purpose and the reason I fight with everything I have to leave this great country in a better place for them than it was when I grew up.
Unfortunately, the Democrats have done everything in their power to destroy it.
And they did it with one massive lie: That mass migration from all parts of the world makes America better off.
They allowed hundreds of thousands of unvetted people from cultures that are utterly incompatible with our own to pour across our borders.
They loaded murderers onto private jets, flew them into American cities and had hard-working Americans like you and me pay the bill.
We are living in an America where Democrats shamelessly put foreigners and illegals before American citizens.
We’ve opened the doors to a deadly threat to our very way of life.
I watched as a jihadist immigrant in my home state of Texas committed acts of terror with “PROPERTY OF ALLAH” written across the front of his chest.
How many more Americans have to get Allahu Akbar’ed before we realize Islam is a problem?
The American people do not have any obligation, constitutionally or otherwise, to import people from foreign cultures, particularly cultures that are utterly incompatible with the American way.
The left hates me for espousing such a view.
But nothing – I repeat – nothing is more important to me than keeping this country safe for my children and future grandchildren.
The country we love is on the brink of destruction & it has put it on my heart to fight with all that I have.
