Contributions to Cameron for Senate, Inc. are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. The maximum contribution per person is $3,500 per election ($7,000 for Primary + General). Couples may contribute with one check if each donor signs the check. Federal election law requires political committees to use best efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 during an election cycle. Federal law prohibits contributions from the general treasury funds of corporations, labor organizations or national banks. Contributions from Federal government contractors and foreign nationals who lack permanent resident status are also prohibited.
