Individuals may contribute a maximum of $8,700 to the campaign: $2,900 for the primary election, $2,900 for the primary runoff election, and $2,900 for the general election. Unless otherwise designated, the first $2,900 received per individual will be designated to the 2022 primary election; the next $2,900 will be designated to the 2022 primary runoff; and the last $2,900 will be designated to the 2022 general election. Federal law requires political committees use their best efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 per election cycle.
