I’ve spent over a decade of my life registering new Republican voters — too many to count — because I’ve learned one unshakable truth: nothing wins elections like having a bigger pool of voters than the Democrats.

Not a mailer. Not a TV ad nobody watches. Not a “we’ll match your gift” gimmick some consultant cooked up to squeeze one more dollar out of you.

Just a grassroots activist with a clipboard and the determination to make sure every single Republican they meet is registered to vote and casts a ballot.

The midterm elections are barreling toward us, and with less than 50 days until Election Day, my organization Early Vote Action is staffing up to hit the streets in the swing states and critical races that will decide control of Congress.
