Contributions to Elect Republicans are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Federal law requires Elect Republicans to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
Contributions from individuals to Elect Republicans of up to $5,000 per year are designated to the Elect Republicans candidate contribution account. Any amount over $5,000 per year is designated to the Elect Republicans Carey account.
