Friend,

A few years ago, I got a call on a Friday afternoon.

There were seven babies at Child Haven, all needing a home.

I drove over. My husband waited outside in the car with the engine running.

One little girl caught my eye.

She was just ten days old. I signed the paperwork, carried Sophia out, and brought her home.

I had no idea that day that we were beginning a two-year fight to make her part of our family forever.

At one point, a judge looked me in the eye and said: “Sophia is not yours. She is property of the state.”

Those words have never left me.

But neither did Sophia.

We fought for her. We adopted her. And today, she is our daughter. For good. I tell you that story first because that's the best way I know to explain who I am and why I'm running for office.

I'm not someone who walks away when something gets difficult. When my family or my community is worth fighting for, I fight.

And right now, I'm fighting for Assembly District 9.

I'm Erica Neely. Wife. Mother. Small business owner. Author. And for the second time, candidate for Nevada Assembly District 9.

In 2024, I lost this race by just two points. Two.

I was outspent twenty to one.

I ran anyway because I've built my life in this community for twenty years. I've raised my family here. This is home. And I wasn't going to sit on the sidelines while Carson City ignored the families who live here.

The man I nearly beat isn't running again.

This time, I'm not settling for close.

Here's the math.  It takes 12,876 votes to win this seat in November. I already have a credible path to nearly 7 out of every 10 votes we need before persuading a single undecided voter.

Closing the rest of that gap comes down to two things: making sure Republicans who already agree with me actually show up, and making sure nonpartisan voters hear the truth before they fill out their ballots, about who I am, what I'll fight for, and the choice they have in this race.

That takes mail. Voter contact. Shoe leather. And yes, it takes money.

I've never liked asking for help. I'd much rather be the one giving it.

But I came within two points of winning this seat in 2024 while being outspent twenty to one.
I can't finish what I started without your help.  Will you chip in $25, $50, or $100 today?

I came within two points last time with the odds stacked against us.

Imagine what we can do with the resources to compete this time.
