For years, skill games have helped keep the doors open at Pennsylvania bars, restaurants, VFWs, American Legions, and fire halls. They've supported local jobs and paid for the charities that hold our small towns together.
Now, all of that is being taken away. Josh Shapiro wants to tax these games at 52%, a rate that would put these establishments out of business.
That might be because one of his biggest donors owns a casino operation right here in Pennsylvania.
Shapiro has had years to get a deal done on skill games, and he hasn't. Now, they're being removed from establishments all across Pennsylvania.
When she is elected Governor, Stacy Garrity will stand up for the people and businesses caught in this mess and save Skill Games.
