Contributions to Joe Cardinale For Assembly are not tax-deductible.
New York law requires us to collect your name, residential address (no P.O. Boxes), phone number, email address, employer, and occupation.
Contribution Limits:
Individuals may contribute up to $3,000 per election.
Only contributions between $5 and $250 are potentially eligible for public matching funds, and only if the donor’s total contributions to the campaign do not exceed $1,050.
Political committees, candidate committees, unincorporated associations, unions, and trade organizations may contribute up to $3,000 per election.
Corporate, LLC, and PLLC Contributions:
Corporations, LLCs, and PLLCs may contribute up to $5,000 total per calendar year, aggregated across all New York state and local candidates and committees.
LLC/PLLC contributions must be attributed to each owner in proportion to their ownership interest.
LLCs/PLLCs must file a Statement of Identity with the New York State Board of Elections by December 31 of any year in which they make a contribution.
Partnerships:
Partnership contributions are treated as contributions from the partners. Attribution to individual partners is not required unless the partnership contribution exceeds $2,500, at which point the partnership must disclose allocation.
Prohibited Contributions:
We cannot accept contributions from:
– Foreign nationals (non–green card holders)
– Independent expenditure committees
– Anonymous donors
– Any person or entity prohibited by New York campaign finance law

By donating, you certify that:

If giving through a corporation, LLC, PLLC, or partnership, you comply with New York’s limits and reporting requirements.

- This contribution is not being made as a loan to the committee.
