Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contribution exceeds $200 in an election cycle.
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) allows an individual to contribute up to $5800 per election cycle ($2900 for the Primary election and $2900 for the General election); Contributions that exceed $2900 from an individual will be automatically be attributed to the next applicable election. Federal Law requires us to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. Contributions from Federal government contractors are prohibited. No corporate checks or corporate credit cards may be accepted. Partnership and LLC contributions may be accepted under certain guidelines.
