Tennessee law limits contributions to a maximum amount an individual may contribute is $7,000 ($14,000 per couple) per election cycle ($3,500 toward the primary election and $3,500 for the general election). Federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute $5,000 per election. All contributions received will be designated first toward the 2026 primary election, up to the maximum contribution limit, then toward the 2026 general election, up to the maximum contribution limit.
Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Federal law prohibits corporate contributions. Contributions from national banks, labor unions, federal-government contractors, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status are prohibited.
