Contributions to Josh Cortez for Congress are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. An individual may contribute up to $10,500 ($3,500 for the primary election, $3,500 for the primary runoff election, and $3,500 for the general election). Couples contributing from a joint account may contribute up to $21,000. Contributions from corporations, foreign nationals (who are not green card holders) and federal government contractors are prohibited. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect the full name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose aggregate contributions exceed $200 per election.
