LAURA WAKIM CHAPMAN IS A MOTHER, A CONSTITUTIONAL LAWYER, AND A BUSINESS LEADER

Laura is your West Virginia State Senator representing District 1: Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, and the eastern part of Marshall County.

Laura lives in Wheeling with her husband of thirteen years, Matthew, and their two children, Jackson and Eloise.  She graduated from Mount de Chantal and West Virginia University. Laura is the daughter and granddaughter of veterans and a constitutional lawyer who fights for our First and Second Amendment rights in court.

Laura serves so the people in the Northern Panhandle have an effective voice and will not be forgotten.

When she decided to run for office, she made a pledge to listen to you, not lobbyists, not other politicians, and not special interest groups. She also made a pledge to you that every vote she casts will be for the betterment of Hancock, Brooke, Ohio and Marshall Counties.  Laura has stuck to those pledges.
