An individual may contribute up to $8,700 with the first $2,900 designated for the Special Primary election, the next $2,900 designed for the Special Runoff election, and the final $2,900 designated for the Special General election. Couples may contribute up to $17,400 from jointly held funds with the authorization of both donors.
