Inflation is at a 40-year high. Gas prices continue to rise. And Governor Whitmer's policies are making things worse.
The Michigan legislature passed a Bipartisan Income Tax Cut that would provide relief to millions of struggling Michigan families, but Governor Whitmer has promised to VETO it.
The tax cut helps workers, seniors, and families:
- Cut taxes for all state taxpayers
- Creates a $500 child tax credit for each eligible dependent
- Increase the individual deductions for seniors over age 62 from $20,000 to $40,000 annually, or $80,000 for those filing jointly.
This income tax cut is on Whitmer's desk, waiting for her signature today!
