The Montana Republican Party's State Delegate Convention is being held May 18th, 2024 at the Great Northern Hotel located at 835 Great Northern Boulevard in Helena.

Per Montana bylaws Section B. III. D, delegates to the State Delegate Convention shall be elected from each county by the County Central Committee. Following the election of delegates to the State Delegate Convention by the County Central Committee, the County Chairman must notify the State Chairman of the names of the county delegates at least thirty (30) days prior to the convention, which is April 18th, 2024.

Delegates at the State Delegate Convention will then elect delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention which is taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin July 15th-18th, 2024. Anyone interested in being a National Delegate/Alternate MUST be registered for the State Delegate Convention (either as an attendee, or elected by their county central committee) and they must turn in a National Delegate/Alternate Application form.
