Contributions to Renacci for Ohio are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Individuals and PACs may contribute $13,704.41 for both the primary and general elections. Corporate contributions prohibited. Partnerships, LLCs and other unincorporated entities may contribute, but must include the name of an owner or owners to whom to attribute the contribution. Ohio law requires that all contributors must provide their name and address regardless of contribution amount and the name of their employer if the contribution is for more than $100. If the contributor is self-employed, the business name and occupation of the contributor must be reported as "Self Employed". Ohio law bars the award of unbid contracts to certain campaign contributors who have given in excess of specified amounts to the candidate who will have the authority to award the public contract.
