Hey there, it's Tim Burchett.

I figured we'd have ourselves a little fun.

When I'm not up in Washington dealing with all the craziness, one of my favorite places to be is out in my barn back home. Give me a little sawdust, a few tools, and something to tinker with, and that's about my idea of a good day.

That's exactly how this skateboard came to be. I built it with my own two hands, and on August 6, one randomly selected patriot is gonna take it home.

Now before anybody gets to wondering... no, this ain't one of those fancy-schmancy giveaways where the fella with the biggest check always seems to get lucky. That wouldn't be much fun now, would it?

Everybody's got a shot.

Truth be told, I couldn't keep doing this without patriots like y'all.

Every time you chip in a few bucks, you're helping me keep asking the questions the career politicians wish I'd quit asking. You're helping me keep calling out the nonsense, raising a little Cain, and reminding Washington who they're supposed to work for.

So if you're able, I'd sure appreciate your support today.

And while you're at it, go on and throw your name in the hat for this skateboard. I'd get a real kick out of boxing it up and sending it to one of y'all.

I was looking over the list, and unless these old eyes are playing tricks on me, I still don't see your name.

I'd hate for August 6 to roll around and hear you say, "Dadgummit, Tim, I meant to enter."
