State law requires the Brad Schofield Campaign to use best efforts to collect and report the full name and address, principal occupation or job title, and full name of the employer of individuals.
Under Texas law, individuals, PACs, and certain entities may contribute to political campaigns. Texas law does not limit the amount donors may contribute to a candidate. The Brad Schofield Campaign may not accept contributions from corporations, labor organizations, or foreign nationals who have not been granted permanent residence in the United States. The prohibition on corporate contributions also applies to other organizations, such as partnerships and LLCs, if they are owned by a corporation or include an incorporated member or partner. Additionally, banks, trust companies, savings and loan associations or companies, insurance companies, reciprocal or inter-insurance exchanges, railroad companies, cemetery companies, government-regulated cooperatives, stock companies, and abstract and title insurance companies are considered corporations and may not contribute to candidates. If you are not sure whether you can legally contribute, please contact the campaign.
Contributions are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
