Contributions to Whatley for Senate are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. The maximum amount an individual may contribute is $7,000. The first $3,500 will be designated to the 2026 general election. The next $3,500 will be designated to the recount fund. Couples may contribute up to $14,000 from a joint account ($7,000 to the 2026 general election, and $7,000 to the recount fund). Federal multicandidate PACs may contribute up to $5,000 per election. Contributions from corporations, national banks, labor unions, federal contractors, and foreign nationals (non-green card holders) are prohibited. Contributions must be made from personal funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle.
